Stair Refurbishments for Communal Stairwells

Updated: Sep 26, 2023

Communal stairwells in old Edinburgh tenement buildings can sometimes be a bit dark and dreary, if the paintwork hasn't been cared for in the past and its beginning to peel off. The hand rails may require a little rub down and a fresh coat of varnish. The old tiles can also become worn or fall off. The thought of starting a major project of this size can be daunting for owners. It can sometimes be difficult to get everyone to agree then decide that the work needs done. Someone has to collect in the money to pay for the work. This can also be a difficult task for one owner to take on. Edinburgh Block Management can offer this service to owners who are already signed up with our core services package. We can arrange for estimates, collect in the monies, project manage the task and oversee the work being carried out. If your stair is in need of some TLC, please drop us an email or give us a call and we can discuss your requirements.
